As your vocal consultant, Laurie listens to your needs and suggests pieces that fit your personality, wedding theme and environment. Whether vocals are needed during the rehearsal dinner, the prelude, the ceremony or the processional, she can tastefully suggest the perfect song or combination of songs that fit your personal style. She has also performed She has also performed at various venues including singing “The Star Spangled Banner” and/or “God Bless America” at professional sporting events, business functions, Mardi Gras balls, and military retirements. Laurie performed solo and small ensemble work as well as singing with the full choir of Chorale Acadienne in both the US and the Czech Republic (Prague). She has sung for many weddings in the US and Dominican Republic, accompanied by a full orchestra or a cappella for an audience of one or 10,000+. Laurie is currently serving as cantor at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, and she has been a part of liturgical music ministry as cantor at St. Jules, St. Pius, St. Patrick’s and numerous other churches in the local diocese. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana–Lafayette and makes her home in Lafayette, Louisiana where she has been happily married to Kenneth since 2005.
