Laurie is a soprano with over 15 years of theatrical vocalist experience. She has performed in many musicals including A Grand Night For Singing, The Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Pirates of Penzance, Annie Get Your Gun, and at various venues including singing the National Anthem at business functions, Mardi Gras balls, and military retirements. As a former member of Chorale Acadienne, Laurie performed solo and small ensemble work as well as singing with the full choir in both the US and the Czech Republic (Prague). She has sung for many weddings in the US and in the Dominican Republic, accompanied by a full orchestra or a cappella for an audience of one or 10,000+. Laurie is currently serving as cantor at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, and she has cantored at St. Jules, St. Pius, St. Patrick’s and numerous other churches in the local diocese.  She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana – Lafayette and makes her home in Lafayette, Louisiana where she has been happily married to Kenneth since 2005. She also enjoys being a Mary Kay Independent Sales Director where she enriches women's lives.
